In a time and reality distant from ours...

In the southern part of the continent of Anameia, in the state of Ghadesia, lived the noblest of men, The Sovereign of the Land. He ruled with a benevolent, yet firm hand over the land's citizens, with His fellow nobles overseeing the day-to-day basis of His Government. The towns and provinces in His territories bustled with vigor, the lands under His watch knew no end to their beauty, and the people living on His land boomed with success...

In all, the land was indeed a good place to live. The people were satisfied, and happy, and The Sovereign of the Land saw the people's prosperity as Good.

But, like in all good tales, they take a dark turn...

One day, the Sovereign of the Land had taken in an unforeseen illness. As a result, His influence started to wane. The nobles became suspicious of His health, and of the limits of His watchful power. His people, though unaware of His actual condition, sensed concerns.

Until one person, in particular, saw the truth before his very eyes...
