Fired up a Linux VM and made DEB and RPM packages with Electron Forge.

Worked like a charm! Um, I guess. I should probably test them.

I've never "formally" released software. Is this how it's supposed to work? I need to somehow attach the binaries for the other platforms in this release, though they are not even on the same machine.

First cut with Electron. electron-packager made it so easy, the only thing I had to look up was how to hide the menu bar!

The only problem is... they're folders, not standalone binaries. Guess I'll zip them.

Getting errors about "access denied" files. Windows file explorer won't zip them. 7z does with complaints. Uploading these.
