Alien Mobile Howitzer "Lion of Babylon"

This vehicle is modeled after an Abrams Tank but is larger than even German WWII prototypes. Complement 100-500.

It is a land-mobile fortress and mobile gun. It is not a tank and not intended to trade fire with larger vessels at close range. Can intimidate smaller vehicles at close range. Orbital class main battery.

It could be redesigned as a front line unit by removing some of the more vulnerable cannon hardware and downsizing or it could be converted to use less volatile weapons such as a particle cannon or rail gun.

Star Wars Backstory: Found on a derelict sleeper ship where all the crew had escaped or perished. Rebel scientists believe the ship may have come from a distant spiral galaxy. The runes "EARTH" are inscribed within in many places. It's ballistic weaponry and multi-environment design will bolster the rebellion's forces. Despite it's large size it fits easily in a Star Destroyer.

Secondary - 2 x fast firing multipurpose cannons to sides of main gun
Tertiary - large multi-size concussion missile VLS cell array
Quaternary - 2 x assault cannons on sides of vehicle
Quinary - 10 x 40mm flak gun

Variants:

COMPACT - Version with origin block for cargo bay parking. For piloted control only.
