While onboarding as a contributor, I ran into various issues when attempting to run the examples tests. Specifically:

  • It wasn't explicit that I need to have Chrome installed locally
  • I need to have chromedriver installed as well
  • I need to start Chrome w/ a debugging port from the command line
  • I need to build the bokehjs examples
  • To update an example's baseline, I need to commit the changes to git
