[Dashboard] The footer bar became blank after the device was asleep for 30+ minutes #54

Note: I tried to reproduce this only one time due to the length of time available and was not able to repro it.

Environment:
http://bootcards-staging.herokuapp.com/
Samsung Galaxy S4, Android 4.3

Steps to reproduce:

Load the app, and then put the device asleep.
Unlock the device and resume the app that was minimized.

Expected result:
The app resumes correctly without any issues.

Actual result:
The bottom footer bar was empty.
