Week 6 Transcript:

Started class discussing that Neil got the plugin to work but we arent able to debug it. Boris suggested waiting until each release to resolve this issue manually.

• Jiafeng:

Working on getting syntax to strings pop-up window working

• Neil:

Wants to see what Kristopher did last class and over week and then will make it buildable. Will see if he can get what kristopher committed buildable.

• Andrew:

Completed 8 commonmark to GFM test cases and found one that was inconsistent. Eventually we decided to wait on this (make it an issue for later in github) and focus on getting the pop up "add syntax to strings" menu to work.

• Kristopher:

Got the plugin to work and showed everyone at the start of class. Boris said to store html in the same location as the markdown file. Need to get it to update when saving. Cannot open html rendered version of the page automatically side by side. Just have user drag it themselves.

• Plan Moving Forward:

Look into getting ctrl + space to woork the Winterstein way

Jiafeng:

Look into getting ctrl + space to work any way possible

Neil:

Injecting CSS and maybe refactoring the test cases

Kristopher:

work on updating without saving and the focus. The work done to add the html should also be extracted into a separate class at some point.
