Currently when the front end detects that there are changes in the underlying data, it prompts the user to refresh the page. A better user experience would be that the front end updated the page automatically.
This should be designed so the the user does not accidentally misclick something when the page reloads unexpectedly
We could design the UI so that it only places new things at the bottom, only modifies the existing items without adding or removing new ones, and/or only updated the UI when the mouse hasn't moved in the last N seconds.
