Describe the issue

describe_internet_gateways returns 'available' in State. However, the document says it is one of attaching, attached, detaching or detached.

Hi @decsa - thanks for reaching out.

Looking at the doc mentioned for describe_internet_gateways under State in response, it states

State (string) –
The current state of the attachment. For an internet gateway, the state is available when attached to a VPC; otherwise, this value is not returned.

Is that what you're referring to? If so, I think it's expected and stated correctly in the docs.

Thanks for your quick response. You are right. I didn't check the description you gave me. It was my misunderstanding. Please close this issue.
