DS4Windows is a program that allows you to connect some specific gamepads to PC by emulating an Xbox 360 Controller. For instance, Dualshock4 is not detected by many games. Xbox 360 Controller has more support on the games, emulating it provides users to play with DS4.
- Application is not a huge project. Therefore a computer science student can try to understand most of the codes.
- Also, I used it many times. To understand behind the logic of the it is interesting for me.
- Their wiki pages are so detailed. Compatibility, options, installation, modes, experiences, troubleshooting are some of the subjects of the wiki pages. They have web site, but their GitHub page contains almost all important features.
- Classes and folders are neat.
- ReadMe file explains what this app does, shares download source, mentions requirements, and has a user guide. User guide is much detailed. They really give such important information to use program step by step.
- Discussions are being used by users for error reporting. When the user has a problem asks at this chapter.
- Issues part is chaotic. Users also try to ask their questions here and this causes coders to struggle to find good issues about what is developed in progress.
- Codes are not well commented.
