Hi,

I don't know where to put some improvement ideas I had for this so I'm opening them as issues. If you think they might not be the best ideas or the path you want for PiGallery, just ignore and close them ;)

I would like to be able to:

  • Delete photos
  • Move photos between folders
  • Rename photos

Regards,
Marco

Hi Marco,

Sorry I have no intention currently to make the app editable.

The aim of the app is to create a new view for an already existing folder for my family.
I'm keen on my photos, they are well organized, geo-tagged, keyword-ed. I don't want anybody besides me to change that and I'm using better tools for this purpose.

First of all its only my hobby project that I make available for public use.

If you are looking for editing option, you can take a look at Lychee.
I have never tried, but heard good things about it.

I know that this old thread, but just wanted to ask @bpatrik if he has any suggestions about tools for organizing and keywording photos. I used to use Picasa desktop but that has been long decommissioned.

Hi,

I'm using Adobe Lightroom. Pigalley2 also optimized for that, but there must be open source apps that can do the same.
