Is test on real PC have been made? |
Hello
Is the issue more linked to the usb stick or the lnb I am not sure to
understand.
In some tuner modules you can enable or disable the card lna, have a look
to lsmod and modinfo to dig further.
Sounds like a reception issue so far.

Hi.
here my setup:
I have two Quad LNB (for 28.6E and 5WB) connected to a Multiswitch and a
single LNB (for 19.2E).
I have 2 USB DVBS2 pctv 461e sticks.
My 1rst USB stick is connected to the single LNB. The 2nd USB stick is
connected to an output of my multiswitch.
Mumudvb 2.1 runs on a debian 12 system, hosted in a promox VM (2CPU, 1GB
of RAM allocated). NIC 1Gb
The 2 USB Sticks are passedthrough in proxmox. Both sticks are externally
powered.
1rst mumudvb instance (via the multiswitch) is used with 5WB to get radios
streams. It works fine.
I face an issue with the second instance (the 19.2 single LNB). When I try
to stream Astra radios (19.2°E 42Astra 1N 12285.00 V [94] DVB-S2 8PSK 29700
2/3 ASTRA 1, 57.5 Mb/s), my VLC client throws errors and audio is chopped.
I use http unicast stream.
I tried to swap the 2 USB sticks: the issue is the same with the new one.
I tried another USB port: still the problem
I tried another Sat transponder: still the problem
I tried to play with thread settings in config: not better
I've upgraded mumudvb from 1.7 to 2.1: the same issue.
The VM perfs are OK
I have no more idea of what I could try.
Anyone would have an idea??
