Hey,

I am using venmo payment in my android app. i got the HTTP 400 Bad Request when try to payment. can anyone tell me why i get this error.

There are changes in progress in the Venmo app to improve the error messaging to the user. Please feel free to comment if you are still seeing this error or email me with your Venmo username and we can look into it further.

@kpilly This looks like an issue more on the Venmo side than Drop-in. You'll have better luck reaching out to the support team who have the tools and contact details to get more information for you.

Im having a similar problem with venmo. I added a debit card, used it to send a payment, the next day I removed the card from my account, and now when I try to re add the same card a red bar comes up on bottom of the screen saying "bad request" and an option to "dismiss" the notification.. Why can't I add the same card I used previously?

Hi @Princessx . Your issue seems unrelated to the 400 issue in this thread. Also, it seems like your issue is living entirely in the Venmo app instead of in your drop-in integration since you talk about adding cards to your Venmo account, and not integrating Venmo with drop-in. Is this the case?

If your issue is related to our drop-in SDK, feel free to create a new Github issue with device data, SDK version, and a screenshot of this error you're seeing.

Also feel free to reach out to our support team https://help.braintreepayments.com/ where they can help you take a deeper dive into your integration if the issue you are seeing isn't an issue with our SDK.

My mistake, I saw other comments on this thread about venmo, so I thought I was in the right place. Yes my problem lives entirely in the venmo app. Thanks

I am trying to sign up for venmo and it asks me to verify my phone, but when I put my phone number in, it gives me the http 400 bad request

@conchain Hello. If you're having an issue with using the actual Venmo app you can contact Venmo customer support at support@venmo.com or 1 (855) 812-4430. If you're trying to integrate pay with Venmo into your braintree-android-drop-in setup and are having trouble, please contact Braintree support at https://help.braintreepayments.com/ or (877) 434-2894.

If you think this is due to an issue in our SDK, feel free to open a new issue! Thank you.

If you're having an issue with using the actual Venmo app you can contact Venmo customer support at support@venmo.com or 1 (855) 812-4430.
