Spring Boot, MySQL, Spring Security, JWT, JPA, Rest API

Build Restful CRUD API for a blog using Spring Boot, Mysql, JPA and Hibernate.

Steps to Setup

1. Clone the application

git clone https://github.com/brandy-kay/ThoughtHub

2. Create Mysql database

create database thoughthub

• run src/main/resources/thoughthubapi.sql

3. Change mysql username and password as per your installation

• open src/main/resources/application.properties
• change spring.datasource.username and spring.datasource.password as per your mysql installation

Make sure your database is on

4. Run the app using maven

mvn spring-boot:run

The app will start running at http://localhost:8089

Once you run the project successfully, you can access the swagger docs using the following link:

http://localhost:8089/swagger-ui.html
