Notification corruption bug after downloading many files

Description

If the user downloads many files one after the other the notifications get corrupted. The percentages stop working and the notifications are stuck unclearable until the browser is force closed. Sometimes temporary files also remain in the Downloads folder indefinitely.
It has been an issue for months with many devices I have tried it on and many versions of Android.

Steps to reproduce

1. Start downloading many small files on after the other, e.g. a stash of memes or pics from the web, usually around 50 is enough, after that the corruption starts
2. Some of the notifications get stuck and corrupted, need to force close browser to clear
3. The files are actually downloaded, the notifications are stuck and not removable and sometimes temporary download files are left in the Downloads folder

Expected result

The notifications to function normally and be clearable. Temporary files to be removed properly.
