Description

GETTR “Follow” action button isn't visible when logged in. There is some ad-block rule that prevents it from showing, but it seems that this is only the case when logged in.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Create an account at GETTR
  2. Login
  3. Visit a profile
  4. Enable Brave Shield (default settings)

You can now see that the Follow button disappears. It will re-appear when you disable Brave Shields. It will also re-appear when you are not logged in. You have to hard-reload Ctrl+F5 / Cmd+Shift+R to see this effect.

Actual result:

The Follow button is getting hidden.

Expected result:

The Follow button should show up on profiles that the user isn't following.

Reproduces how often:

Easily reproduced

Desktop Brave version:

Version 1.26.77 Chromium: 91.0.4472.164 (Official Build) (x86_64)

Other Additional Information:

  • Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Shields? Yes
  • Does the issue resolve itself when disabling Brave Rewards? Idk
  • Is the issue reproducible on the latest version of Chrome? No

It's only affecting desktop, so could someone with power please remove the OS/Android label? Mis-clicked.
