Description

When creating a web app via "Create shortcut", PWA (Web apps) don't show their on icon, and are grouped together as another Brave window. This problem persists both in X11 and Wayland.

Brave version (brave://version info)

1.35.92-1

Other Additional Information:

  • Is the issue reproducible on the latest version of Chrome?
Yes. But in Edge it works flawlessly.

I also observed the same behaviour on KDE plasma.

It is expected to have seperate windows with its own icon. As OP said MS edge does not have this issue.

Hi, same there on KDE

Desktop launcher icon is shown.
And, as you can see, the (es.) Youtube Music starts the application by his own icon

And after the YTM application is grouped with others Brave windows

I think the player is shown in both the windows by a feature, not a bug.
I hope it will be solved.
