Description

In windows 11 I have recently installed Brave v.11.44.108
I noticed it has brought 300 Mb file with it, called "chrome.7z"
In my case it's landed here:
C:\Program Files\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application\106.1.44.108\Installer
It doesn't look like it's needed for Brave functioning.
I have manually removed the whole "Installer" directory and Brave keeps working just fine.

I'm guessing if the contents of that is needed only during installation, it should be deleted afterwards and not be put into C:\Program Files\ shitting up free space of user disks.

The browser itself is fine, I'm loving it.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Install brave on Windows 11
  2. Look inside the above path (C:\Program Files\BraveSoftware\Brave-Browser\Application\106.1.44.108\Installer)
  3. Behold "chrome.7z" 300 Mb file in there

Expected result:

No extra files should be landed to user hard drives. Especially that big.
