Brave Version 0.66.99
MacOS Mojave 10.14.5

I have opened a url in private mode,
this URL is now available in the suggestions list from the URL bar in normal mode.

The item was not in history, but I have cleared the history for past 24 hours anyway, and restarted Brave browser. The suggestion is still in the list (private window is closed)...

How do we clear this list? I thought it was generated from browsing history. Is that not the case?

@Alino We do a url suggest pulling from Alexa's Top 500 sites list, is it possible that's what you're seeing and not actually the site history from your private window browsing?

We do pull from history, open tabs, and bookmarks but also from the Alexa list.

It's a specific link with parameters in url not just to the domain name, so it's not coming from Alexa.
Where are the suggestions list stored? Is it clearable?
Thanks
