Sometimes device gets stuck in QR code scan

Steps to Reproduce

1. Enable sync chain on any device
2. Try QR code scan on iPhone 7
3. Just as the device camera is focused on the QR code(not even completely), sync chain is created but device is stuck on the scan qr code screen

Actual result:
Sometimes device gets stuck in QR code scan

Expected result:
Should not get stuck on scan QR code screen

Intermittent issue. Happened once so far

Brave Version:
1.9(19.3.9.1)

Device details:
iPhone 7+ (12.1.4)

• did you check with Brave Shields down?
• did you check in Safari/Firefox (WkWebView-based browsers)?

Additional Information

I had passcode enabled on browser. Not sure if that has any effect. When i tried reproducing it with the same steps it was unsuccessful.
