Widgets need a whole overhaul. There is an important technical debt, it's using old technologies, it's not designed to accept different locations.

This milestone tracks any issue related to widgets as (except a few little issues) they are pending this overhaul first. Being in this milestone doesn't mean it will actually be implemented or exactly implemented this way as we try to gather all needs together.

Currently, a state of art document and a few mockups have been done, but there is no longer any dedicated maintainer for widgets, so anything widget-related is currently on hold.
