Mac version won't install (OS always reports as 'damaged') #7
Comments
Hi Nathan, its been about 5 years since there was any active development on this project, so I might not be of too much help. And apologies if the installation instructions are a little too brief. |
Here's the link: https://github.com/brendanofallon/ACG/blob/master/ACGCommandLine.jar?raw=true |
Cool -- trying; downloaded it as such, and when then trying java -jar
ACGCommandLine.jar, got prompted 'Please supply the name of an analysis
settings file'. Does that mean just naming a multiple alignment (input)
file, or something more?
Thanks!
Nathan

Just right-click that and choose "Save link as..."

Howdy,
Would love to use ACG on Macbook Pro (Sierra, i5 2.7, 8gb) but even after retroinstalling Java SE Runtime 6 per the provided link, the 0.95 version of ACG fails to open/install on clicking or control-clicking. Error message reports the file as 'damaged' (with more info button suggesting this means some issue with how it's 'signed'), and leaves no action option except moving to trash.
Please advise! Thanks,
Nathan
