This repository holds the replication material for the analysis produced in "Quand la biopolitique change les politiques : survie au cancer et réforme du système de santé en Angleterre", presented at the AFSP Congress 2011 in Strasbourg, France.
The paper and its appendix are included in the repository. The R code revolves around a generalized additive model of health expenditure, using OECD Health data and cabinet government periods from Number 10.
The code uses functions written by Robert H. Shumway and David S. Stoffer for time series, and Gavin Simpson for additive models.
