A simplified version of this script in Ruby would be great:

I'll give this a shot! (Sadly just learned forks don't contribute to GH streak...)

Here's my skeleton with arg parsing (may need some options to cross-over to --terminal 'option' too):

PS: Never really got to working on this -- just posting this to let anyone else who sees this know that work is not ongoing.
