#===================================================================================== # This Patient Master Index Lookup will require customization # for each customer context. For insight into this look at the SQL # 'select' statement contained within file pmi-lookup-config.properties. # # This will obviously vary from customer to customer, and will affect # programming constructs. See, for example, the following source code: # Patient.java # PMILookupServiceImpl.java # # Note that the output and output format are currently aimed at Onyx requirements. # #====================================================================================== Inspect the POM. ================ There is a production profile and a development profile. The build is development by default. Look at the enironment.type property setting, which is used to produce two artifacts (development and production versions)... Within the tree, see src/main/environment-config where you will find development and production directories. To build a development artifact, the default install invocation is sufficient... mvn install To build a production artifact... mvn install -Denvironment.type=production Inspect pmi-lookup-config.properties files! =========================================== Two are located within the src/main/environment-config/* directories. It is these files that drive the database access for three (yes, three) environments: i) Standalone development/integration environment, using MySql as a backend. This is used when a developer wants to test Onyx in isolation and needs a PMI lookup. "Standalone" and "in isolation" here mean on his/her laptop running Linux. ii) Production test (clinical/hospital environment), using SqlServer iii) Production live (clinical/hospital environment), using SqlServer There is yet a third "version" of this file named pmi-lookup-unit-test-config.properties which is within the test/resources directory and covers a fourth possibility: iv) Unit testing using a transitory HSQLDB instance. BEWARE!!! ========= Be ABSOLUTELY certain to run clean before each build! I have found more than a tendency for the different profile builds to interfere with each other: ie: build a development artifact followed by a production artifact, and you will find some development files being folded into the production build, or vice versa, UNLESS you run clean first.
