Wrote down some initial thoughts on how others can contribute after a quick chat with @malcata .

This would be simple if we had time to keep a proper roadmap, but I doubt we will ever be able to publish more than what is in the Annual Activities Report and in the Issues page.

I have a vision of Gregory as a tool for doctors, researchers and other stakeholders in the medical community. A tool that indexes, summarises, and finds connections across papers. A software that can be trained to identify what is valuable, and thus provide better results for doctors and researchers.

Gregory's mission is to speed up innovation in the scientific and medical field.

Our core values are openness, transparency, and participation. We welcome contributions from other fields and stakeholders, but implementing them into the main branch must take into account the focus of the project and the need to keep it flexible enough to assist any subject-matter or medical condition.

This being said, the current CONTRIBUTING.md file is up for discussion and will be updated by me during the following days or weeks.
