Sorting / Grouping in Nested Events

We are using nested events according to the demo: https://bryntum.com/products/schedulerpro/examples/nested-events-configuration/

Now we would like to group the children in the "box". lets say for example first all the children with type="assets" and then the one with the type="asset".

Is there a way to do that?"

So the idea would be to group/sort the nested events by a type/property, and then sort it by time inside the group.

There is a private and undocumented overlappingEventSorter config on the feature, probably only needs docs
