Thanks for your issue, but which version have you tested, the last version from github?
In the dev version of github was fixed this topic with $output['global_post'] = isset( $GLOBALS['post'] ) ? $GLOBALS['post'] : '';

Ok, I am on the official 2.1.15. Looks like this would fix it in the next release. Thanks
