This example is taken from molecule/default/converge.yml and is tested on each push, pull request and release.

---
- name: Converge
  hosts: all
  become: true
  gather_facts: true

  roles:
    - role: buluma.systemd
      systemd_default_target: multi-user.target
      systemd_coredump:
        - option: Compress
          value: "true"
      systemd_journald:
        - option: LineMax
          value: 48k
      systemd_logind:
        - option: HandleLidSwitch
          value: ignore
      systemd_resolved:
        - option: DNSOverTLS
          value: "false"
      systemd_system:
        - option: LogLevel
          value: info
      systemd_user:
        - option: DefaultStartLimitBurst
          value: 5

The machine needs to be prepared. In CI this is done using molecule/default/prepare.yml:

---
- name: Prepare
  hosts: all
  become: true
  gather_facts: false

  roles:
    - role: buluma.bootstrap

Also see a full explanation and example on how to use these roles.

The default values for the variables are set in defaults/main.yml:

---
# defaults file for systemd

# Select the target to boot into. Either "multiuser.target",
# "graphical.target" or "rescue.target".
# systemd_default_target: multi-user.target
systemd_default_target: ""

# Set options in coredump.conf. For example:
# systemd_coredump:
# - option: Compress
# value: "true"
systemd_coredump: []

# Set options in journald.conf. For example:
# systemd_journald:
# - option: LineMax
# value: 48k
systemd_journald: []

# Set options in logind.conf. For example:
# systemd_logind:
# - option: HandleLidSwitch
# value: ignore
systemd_logind: []

# Set options in resolved.conf. For example:
# systemd_resolved:
# - option: DNSOverTLS
# value: "false"
systemd_resolved: []

# Set options in system.conf. For example:
# systemd_system:
# - option: LogLevel
# value: info
systemd_system: []
