Please read the disclaimer before consdering to use this.

This is a PCB for the Mister FPGA that extends midi functionality through the Mister user port. It requires a Mister I/O board for that. Unlike other available solutions, it is designed to be mounted below the actual Mister stack. In addition, it has some LEDs for power, midi in and midi out signaling.

Build instructions

In the Gerber directory, there are three relevant files:

The latter two files can be used for buying a batch of PCBs with SMD parts preassembled from JLCPCB. In that case, there are just four through-hole parts left to solder (User port USB3 connector and 3 DIN5 connectors). These are the parts marked with JLCPCB preassembly "no" in the table above.

Make sure you get the right footprints.

Where can I get this?

The project is open-source and DIY. You can therefore build your own and even sell them if you want. If you don't want to build one for yourself and are located in the EU, you are welcome to contact me. I may build one on demand if I have the time.
