When I start Pomodorino through either the gnome launcher or the terminal all I see is a notification that says "Pomodorino is ready". But I don't see anything else happen.

Pomodorino is pure GTK so it should work fine on Wayland (tho I did not test it on it yet), the notification you see being the proof. I think why you don't see anything is, the main UI of the app is a system tray icon that has an associated menu, and Gnome 3 / 40 does not support displaying AppIndicators by default. I haven't tried this (as I'm on i3wm), but installing Long term I'll probably add a main window as an alternative to the AppIndicator UI. I've added issue #58 for this. |

I haven't tried this (as I'm on i3wm), but installing
gnome-shell-extension-appindicator
may help. If you can try that and then tell me if it worked or not, that'd be great. I'll add it as a dependency if it works for you; if it doesn't, I'll test with Gnome 40 myself in the weekend and see if I can do anything.Long term I'll probably add a main window as an alternative to th…
