About This Project

FIREFIREFIRE Extended is a bootloader for the Amazon's Kindle Fire based on pokey9000's FIREFIREFIRE v1.2 (which itself is built on Das U-Boot). It aims to provide dual boot support for the Kindle Fire, so that two ROMs can be installed on a single device. It accomplishes this by enabling the user to create a set of "alternate boot partitions" that sit alongside their primary ones.
