Remove "about:blank" from the address bar

I set my new tab page to about:blank, and it focuses on the address bar, but if I try to search "firefox", I end up with "about:blankfirefox". Can you remove the about:blank please?

This seemed to start in the last week or so, perhaps due to an upgrade in Firefox (I use developer edition which is always upgrading) or in the plugin. A temporary workaround is to set your custom URL to a space character, i.e. set URL to " " instead of "about:blank" - hope this works for you until the bug is acknowledged and corrected

Yeh that works for now, ill leave this open for now I guess. Im running 60.0b4 (64-bit) normal firefox
