Depends on #95. Possibly nothing more is required, but we'll see when #95 is done.

I’d love to see this. Have you looked into the work of puri.sm, specifically the squeekboard project? Unfortunately I won’t be of any help because I neither know C nor Rust, but having a Wayland kiosk with a configurable and well maintained on-screen keyboard would be fantastic.

Yes, virtual keyboards are currently what's missing from cage for me (though support in e.g. westons kiosk-shell.so is also not really usable).
