remove unused css (run uncss or similar tool to strip out unused rules from bootstrap)
combine remaining css (combine current multiple css files into a single one with build tool)
if uncss step is effective we can look into how to make that an automatic part of the build process

This uncss step was wildly successful, removed 90% of CSS weight after gzipping
