Intro

Archi is an opensource Enterprise Architecture modeling tool. Archi supports the Archimate modeling standard developed by the Open Group... Creators of TOGAF.

Download

Archi comes in 4 flavors of Windows package.

• 32 Bit
• 64 bit
• Install-able
• Portable

For those who don't have access to install application I would recommend the 64bit Portable version.

Setup

• Download the Archi zip file and extract its contents to your desktop or the root of C:\Archi ... where ever you have write access.

• From inside the Archi folder launch Archi.exe

• Archi will load and start with a blank Model ... Time to learn how to use Archi :)

Collaboration Plugin Setup

• Download the latest version of the Archi collaboration plugin. It can be found here .
• Launch Archi
• From Archi, Click the Help Menu and then Click "Install Archi Plugin"

• Select the Zip file you just downloaded and Press OK

• Click Yes to restart Archi

• You should now see the collaboration Menu in Archi ... You finished the plugin install :)

Configure Archi for a Github or GCCode repo

This will link Archi to our Git repository

• From inside Archi, under the Collaboration Menu, Select Import Remote Model to Workspace

• Enter in your github login information and github repository URL
