Trouble joining cloud from self-hosted

Using Homechart v2022.07.3+e7e6f9c on Docker.

I was able to install and get the container up and running. I'm accessing this container from the outside world via nginx subdomain proxy to the docker container. Clicking on "Copy ID and Visit Homechart Cloud" link on the "subscription" menu directs me to the homechart sign in page at https://web.homechart.app/signin

I sign in with my credentials and my self-hosted url. I appear to be directed to my self-hosted instance. A message appears at the top the the page "Finish setting up your Homechart subscription to use Homechart". Clicking "subscribe" directs me to the subscription page. Clicking on "Copy ID and Visit Homechart Cloud" opens a new tab and brings me back to the subscription page. Again click on "Copy ID and Visit Homechart Cloud" results in the same behavior, in a circular fashion.

I'm not sure if my self-hosted instance is associated with the cloud and I'm not sure how to manage my subscription.

This might be better over email as I need some details from you to look stuff up. Can you send the email address you used to sign up for Homechart Cloud and the Self Hosted ID for your instance to support@homechart.app?

Solution was to create a cloud homechart account first, and then attach my self-hosted instance. Before creating the cloud account, I was able to log into my self-hosted instance via the cloud, but the accounts were not connected. Creating the homechart cloud account first and then connecting my self-hosted instance using my self hosted ID worked.
