Is there staging support in Capistrano now?

I found some 'recipes' on the internet for this but support for it seems limited and specific to certain Capistrano and Rails versions. Based on that I decided to try to not set up something that will support staging but use the poor man's staging support by changing the deploy.rb manually each time.

But what is recommended? Is there currently a better way to do this. One that is supported by Capistrano?

Capistrano Multistage is widely used for this and works ok - https://github.com/capistrano/capistrano/wiki/2.x-Multistage-Extension

@leehambley you edited wikipage related to multistage extension, but it is not correct, as I am getting
no such file to load -- capistrano/ext/multistage (LoadError) without capistrano-ext installed.

Indeed, it's not pushed yet - jumped the gun a bit there, the release is due out in a few hours, I hit a snag with the test suite on 1.9, hold fire, should be accurate shortly!)
