Rails 3 only
From your rails directory
rails plugin install git://github.com/capotej/migration_for.git
Quickly add an index to posts for posts_id rails g migration_for add_index:posts:posts_id
Or create a table and a bunch of fields rails g migration_for create_table:posts add_column:posts:title:string add_column:posts:user_id:integer add_index:posts:user_id
Look over the generated migrations then run them! rake db:migrate
All activerecord transformations are supported
