Further examples of stake pool names and URLs that do not work (with explanation)

Cardano Stake Pool, Ada Stake Pool, Stake Cardano, Stake Ada, Cardano Staking, Staking Cardano, Ada Staking, Staking Ada, stake-cardano, Cardano Community Pool (and all such name variations and URLs):

These names can not be accepted because of the following reasons:

  • These names are all too generic, neither creative nor distinctive and can thus be misleading;
  • All pools are as a fact Cardano/Ada staking pools;
  • Pools with such names leave the impression that they are of an official nature, i.e. connected to Cardano / the Cardano Foundation. This is misleading and confusing for your fellow Cardano fans, which we are sure is not your intention.

Cardano Switzerland, Swiss Cardano, Swiss Cardano Pool, Cardano Canada, Cardano USA, Cardano Spain, Cardano Zurich, Cardano New York, Ada Pool Switzerland (and all such name versions and URLs related to a place, city, country):

These names can not be accepted because of the following reason:

  • Pools with such names leave the impression that they are of an official nature, i.e. connected to Cardano / the Cardano Foundation. This is misleading and confusing for your fellow Cardano fans, which we are sure is not your intention.

What options would be possible with regards to a location:

  • Again, it is relevant that you are creative. Swissie Cardano (with regards to Switzerland), Cardanoist (with regards to Istanbul) or similar names would work.
  • LondonStaker, EuropeFan etc.
