Convert selected text to list

I would like to be able to use the context menu or a shortcut to convert a selected text with return characters into a list. For example if I select this text:
Hi
Hello
Hey

I should be able to convert it to this:

• Hi
• Hello
• Hey

Converting selected text to ordered/unordered list is now supported by the Format menu.
