Hi Carl,

Second batch of beer with your plugin and globally it works well.
2017-12-15_08-18-33

At the beginning of the graph section, my beer was slowly decreasing toward 68F but once it reached the target, it continued to decrease and the chamber target temp never adjusted. This morning around 7am I turned off the Auto mode and turned it on few seconds later. After this, as you can see on the graph, everything got back on track.
Any idea the issue ? (it did it also in my first batch but I was not really able to analyse it)

Thanks !

Sorry I didn't get back to this sooner, but I had a baby shortly before you posted this and am finally getting back into things.

At first I was thinking your PID settings were off, but looking closer, it looks like it's trying to converge a degree below your setpoint (at 67). I've heard other people with similar issues, but haven't seen it myself.

I think most computations are done with integers, so a half degree in either direction would be accounted for in that situation. If you have the problem again, try adjusting the setpoint up or down and then back to your setpoint and see if that solves it.

No worries :-) I used your plugin for all my brews now without any issue.
I used only a heater as my basement is normally under my target temps.
This summer I had to use the chest freezer also but only manually because inertia was too strong and I was not able to control the temp in Auto mode.
That being said your plugin works #1 !!
