Summary

Use github milestones to assign proposals to dates of meetings. Close the milestone when that date's minutes are merged.

Background

Milestones are another way in addition to labels that issues can be grouped and filtered. Milestones can have dates assigned to them.

Decision Factors

Pros

  • allows sorting the issue list to serve as a starting point for meeting agendas
  • keeps information transparent to all

Cons

  • could end up with a lot of milestones

Possible Alternatives

  • construct agendas completely outside of github
