BCM_substancePainter_shortcuts

Some custom shortcuts in Substance Painter 2018.

These are some Autohotkey scripts that are searching custom pixels on your screen and automaticaly moves and clicks your mouse in order to do some tasks faster. It only works with Substance Painter 2018

I was getting tired to go with the mouse everywhere in the interface, so I've created these scripts. With these I can now change the current layer Blending Mode just by pressing Alt+` followed by 1 to PassThrough without the need to go with the mouse and look for it in the long popup window.... Or I can just change the brush Flow Pressure just by pressing Ctrl+Alt+A, and the script will do the job for me, faster then I could ever be with my mouse.

If you find that these are helpful and you have some more suggestions please leave a comment here.

Installation

  • You don't need Autohotkey to be installed on your computer, you just have to run the BCM_substancePainter_shortcuts.exe after you downloaded and unzipped the folder. Just make sure you keep all the stuff and don't move the BCM_substancePainter_shortcuts.exe in another place.

  • You can adjust the acripts as well but for this you need the Autohotkey to be installed. I've used Autohotkey 1.1.28.00 build

Features in the scripts:

  • Increment sliders - by pressing the Alt + UP or Alt + Down Arrows when you have a text field selected it will decrease or increase the number. You can change the precision by pressing Ctrl+1 and change the options on the window. example : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wBDIHohJbos

  • Change blending options - for the selected stack or layer. When pressing Alt+` a window will open when you can select one of the buttons. With this window active you can press for example 1 and the blending mode will be changed to PassThrough.

  • You can change by yourself these command by Right Clicking over the buttons or over the window background
