This has happened to me twice now, within a week or so. When I went to click "Begin Backup", either my finger or the mouse button stuttered, so that it registered two clicks. At the bottom of the window, it said "canceling" (or something). But the window stayed just like that, at least for several minutes, and nothing I clicked on had any effect.

I finally used Task Manager to kill it. That closed the window, but Task Manager still showed a KeepBack process, so I killed that.

When I restarted, everything seemed to be fine.

I tried looking at the log file from the abortive attempt. It's there in the list. If I open it, nothing shows. I meant to go and see whether it's actually zero bytes, but forgot.

This is (according to "About") 2.0.2.

I hope this gives you enough information to help. It's irritating, but not important, given that I do know how to use Task Manager to kill the process.

(Arthritis makes me less than skillful at mousing, but this mouse also has problems with generating multiple clicks. Not sure whether it's a hardware issue or a Windows setting or what.)

And THANK YOU. This program has saved me from a lot of frustration.

@OCat49 - Can you please download and try release 2.0.3 now available in the Code / Releases section of this web site. I have separated out the Pause and Cancel functionality to alternate buttons. Now, if you accidentally double-click the Backup button, it should have no impact on the processing. Hopefully this will solve the issue for you. Cheers.
