Fairy Ring

Available since 1.16.5-1.7.0.0.

The Fairy Ring is a new crafting variant that allows you to combine items with the power of mushrooms.

Creation

Place 8 mushrooms or fungi (see version differences) in a circle to create a Fairy Ring. Hint: Mushrooms can be placed on mycelium or in dark areas. The 4 blocks inside the Fairy Ring must be empty and need a solid block underneath them. You can recognize a Fairy Ring on the root network.

Mushrooms or fungi of the item tag "extendedmushrooms:fairy_ring_mushrooms" can form a Fairy Ring. This tag contains the item tags "forge:mushrooms" (all mushrooms) and "forge:fungi" (crimson fungus, warped fungus) by default.

Blocks which are subclasses of "MushroomBlock" can form a Fairy Ring.

Behaviour

You can throw items in the middle of the Fairy Ring to unite them. When a correct recipe is found, mystical sounds will play, glittering particles will appear, and the items will magically fuse together while floating.

Entering the Fairy Ring will cancel any running crafting process and give you all contained items back.
