From FB https://www.facebook.com/groups/cgeo.fangruppe/permalink/2410848359213730/

Add the possibility to present a coordinate as QRCode text.
(The import from the clipboard should be enough)

I am the one who created the FB post, and I want to give some more details.

The use case would be a group of cachers who are doing a multi cache together and want to share the coordinates for the next waypoint among all the running instances of c:geo (after they are determined). The existing possiblities of saying them out loud or sharing in a messenger group are either error prone, tedious or needs agreement on a certain messenger.

An easy way of sharing the coordinates would be using a qr code: A long tap on a waypoint would give the menu option "Show as QR Code" which displays the qr code on the device.
On the other hand, when entering coordinates then there should be the option "Scan QR Code" (beside the other existing ones like "copy from clipboard"), which opens the camera and one could scan the coordinates on device b from device a. This would be a non technical solution that is possible even for non tech freaks (unlike sending via nfc or so), and it is relatively fast: One presents the code, the others scan it. Done!

Thank you for listening :-)

Just for info: long tap on waypoints / caches is already in use (for adding waypoint to / removing it from an individual route), so we would need a different way - maybe a menu entry in the waypoint/cache popup's hamburger menu.

When you open a waypoint and click on the coordinates, then you either get a dialog for entering them or a short menu with the possiblity to copy the coordinates. Both cases can have the possibility to display it as qr code, the first one should have the possibility to scan as qr code.
