glhimmel

real-time rendering of background imagery

texturebased

Rendering different kinds of textures on a screenaligned quad. Texturemapping modes:

  • Spheremapped
  • Polarmapped
  • Cubemapped
  • Paraboloidmapped

Additional Features:

  • Horizonband (blend between a horizon and bottom color at the edge of the texture and ground)
  • fake sun (add an alpha channel to your texture to make it disappear behind clouds)
  • transitions (switch between multiple textures)
  • Rotation around Zenith (raz) (rotates the texture to simulate cloud movement)
