real-time rendering of background imagery
Rendering different kinds of textures on a screenaligned quad. Texturemapping modes:
- Spheremapped
- Polarmapped
- Cubemapped
- Paraboloidmapped
Additional Features:
- Horizonband (blend between a horizon and bottom color at the edge of the texture and ground)
- fake sun (add an alpha channel to your texture to make it disappear behind clouds)
- transitions (switch between multiple textures)
- Rotation around Zenith (raz) (rotates the texture to simulate cloud movement)
