Hey there,

deeply sorry if this has been asked or solved before. I was wondering if it might be interesting and meaningful to provide a fake use command. I'm talking about a command like \aci{rocketscience}, that would not generate any output but would produce a back-reference to the according page in \printacronyms.

This is implemented in version 3.0, albeit indirectly.
