No album info scrobbled in Google Music

I have noticed that only track and artist information is scrobbled when listening in Google Music. Would be great to have the album detail submitted too.

A fair few last.fm extensions seem to have this issue. Is it a limitation of Google Music?
Is there any way to add this functionality?

Google Music doesn't have a reliable way of determining the album information. Album is an optional field in last.fm's scrobbling API, so it's often left out in cases where it can't be determined.

That's a real shame. Hate seeing half my music with album info and half without (depending from what source i listened). Also skews the album charts.

Oh well, hope Google Music changes soon to allow this. Thanks for your response.

Google Play now provides album info for the most part, also added the ability to manually edit track info in the scroblr popup.
