Video Player sometime pauses 1 video when comparing 2 versions

Describe the bug

When comparing 2 versions, sometimes the playback only plays one video. Pausing and restarting usually solves the issue.
Most often occurs after playback the first time; then one side is frozen on the 2nd replay until jiggling the preview player.

Does not seem to happen with shorter videos
